When it started its journey in 1969, Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary was called Molem Game Sanctuary. Situated at Molem in Goa and spread over a sprawling area of 240 sq. kms, this sanctuary is Goa's biggest one. are available on hire after the formalities are completed at the office of the

A majority of tourists often prefer the location of the Devil's Canyon View Point to have a look at the wild animals. Avid bird lovers will also have the experience of a lifetime as they will have a chance to view many stunning and exotic species of birds.

Besides its rich variety of fauna and flora, this place also boasts of some important historical and geological features. Dudhsagar falls, which will take an hour to reach from Colem via train, is a visual treat. The "Devil Canyon" is another gorgeous geological spot, which is a major draw among the tourists.
