Located 60 kilometers from Panaji, Cotigoa Wild Life Sanctuary is the second largest in Goa. Talpona River waters this sanctuary stretching for 105 square kilometers. Established in 1969, it is a natural home to a wide array of flora and fauna. The Tiger’s roar, Hyena’s laugh, Monkey’s gibber and Elephant’s trumpet constitute the natural ambience of this immense house of nature. decreased over the years, the white eyed eagle and woodpecker replaced them
