Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary is an important tourist destination in Andhra Pradesh. The sanctuary is the homeland for varieties of species of wild animals, birds and reptiles. The Kinnerasani sanctuary is the store house of exotic life and tourists can easily

Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary:
Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary is 21km away from Paloncha is the district of Khamman district of Andhra Pradesh. The sanctuary covers 635.4 sq kms of area and this land serves as the homeland for various endangered species. The sanctuary is named after the name of the river Kinnerasani. The river dissects the sanctuary and finally meets Godavari.
The sanctuary is the homeland for animals like Cheetal, Chinkara, Chousinghas, Sambar, Wild Boars, Gaurs, Hyena, Jackals, Panthers, Sloth Bear, Tigers and Black Bucks. The varieties of birds like Peafowl, Jungle Fowl, Quails, Partridges, Teals, Nuktas, Spoonbills and Doves are the common birds in the sanctuary.

Apart from rich fauna, there are varieties of floras that make the land rich. Tourist can find Bamboo, Teak, Maddi, Yepi, Yegissa, Sommi Thandra, Bandaru, Amla and Tengu in the jungle area. The tree tops remain populated with various migratory birds.

Apart from these features, the Kinnerasani Wildlife sanctuary in Andhra Pradesh offers various other parks like Deer Park, Kinnerasani Dam and Reservoir are the attractions of the Kinnerasani wildlife sanctuary.
