Sasangir National Park
This national park in West India is the only home of the pure Asiatic Lions. What’s more, over 400 flora species have been observed in this national park and boasts of being the largest dry deciduous forest in India.

Asiatic Lions, Leopards, Jungle Cats, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongoose, Civet Cats, Ratels, Desert Cats, Rusty-Spotted Cats, Chital, Nilgai, Sambar, Four-Horned Antelope, Chinkara, Wild Boar, Blackbucks, Indian Star Tortoise, Monitor Lizard, Pythons, Crested Hawk-Eagle, Brown Fish Owl, Great Horned Owl and Bush Quail are few of the 2375 flora species to observe in this national park.
Pench National Park
Located on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, the Pench National park is spread over an area of 758 sq km. With some interesting geographical features to speak of, the park is home to a variety of animals including the tiger, gaur, four horned antelope, nilgai and wild dog. Meanwhile, barbets, minivets, orioles, wagtails and blue kingfishers are some of the bird species you can come across during a trip to the park.
